Thanks so much for stopping by to view my work. My goal for every session is to create images that you and your children will cherish as you move through the seasons of life. Our lives are stories in the process of being written; each day a new page, each season a new chapter.

I love creating images that tell stories.

Life’s only constant is change, and the opportunity to seize those simple but monumental moments sometimes has a short window. Babies turn into toddlers who turn into kids, then teens – and before you know it, you’re looking at a graduating young adult. A beautiful image can preserve those fleeting moments and irreplaceable memories.

As such, photographs are precious – from our first connection until you hang the final images on your wall, each session offered is custom-designed with your portrait goals in mind, showcasing the most important moments in your life. Amanda was absolutely fantastic! I had a newborn photo session and a maternity photo session with her, and both were wonderful!! These were performed at her Treasure Valley Studio and I was happy to drive out as I specifically wanted to work with Amanda. She is extremely personable and pleasant to work with and her work is so beautiful, I know I will cherish these photos for years. I can not recommend It’s Sunny in Boise Photography enough! The maternity dresses she offers to her clients are perfect and I was happy I didn’t have to purchase something extra that I wouldn’t be able to wear often. For the newborn photos, she has so many adorable props, set-ups and super cute outfits, I was blown away. I am beyond grateful that we came across her information and am so fortunate for this wonderful experience!

I can’t begin to describe the amazingness that is Amanda’s work!!! Leading up to our newborn session, Amanda and I exchanged many emails so that she could get a feel for what we wanted and our style. The photo session itself was very relaxing and it was so exciting to see Amanda do her work. When we reviewed the final prints, Amanda took the time to ask what we liked and didn’t like about certain images and when we finally got the prints, I was blown away at how BEAUTIFUL they turned out. I can’t wait to have Amanda take our daughter’s one year photos! If we ever have more children (which honestly, Amanda’s work is so amazing that it makes me want to have more babies just so that we can hire Amanda again), we will absolutely use Amanda again! She makes the entire experience feel like you’re working with a friend! Her studio is meticulously organized and filled with the cutest baby props and clothing. She works with you to plan everything ahead of time, so she can take as many pictures as possible! There is so much attention to detail, it shows how passionate Amanda is about what she does! Amanda is patient, professional and kind! She squeezed us in last minute for a newborn session during the height of the holiday season. Despite an amazing newborn-friendly environment, my sweet baby girl cried the entire session. I was so worried the pictures wouldn’t turn out. I came back to view them and was blown away at how perfect and angelic the shots of my family were! I actually shed a few tears during the viewing. After my viewing Amanda turned around and got them edited ahead of schedule. She is really wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!!
